Essential Apps 2026 Lists
Every student in Years 5 to 8 at Beaconhills College is required to bring an iPad in good working order to classes (with the latest iPadOS and a battery that will last all day) as well as a collection of apps that the students will need for their classes.
It is imperative that ALL these apps, regardless of cost, are installed by the start of the year and not wait until they are needed.
Students in Years 9-12 are able to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and will need to ensure they install apps that suit their choice of device.

Campion Booklists
We have some good news about Junior School booklists. You will no longer have to complete a booklist order. The College has been able to negotiate a bulk purchase price for all Junior School booklists, which is now included in the College fees.
To order, please go to the Campion website at www.campion.com.au and click on Parents order here, enter your email or mobile and verify using a 6-digit code that is sent to you.

Edrolo VCE Video Resources and Digital Textbooks
Edrolo Video Resources
Students enrolled in the following VCE subjects will be allocated an Edrolo account by the College for accessing Edrolo video resources:

Edrolo Digital Textbooks
Students enrolled in the following subjects are required to purchase an EDROLO digital textbook through their Edrolo account:

Families will be required to purchase the digital textbook, with the following options by the commencement of the next school year:
- Digital textbook only or
- Digital textbook and optional hard copy version
- Download this letter for extra information and instructions on the textbooks for VCE Biology and Physics.
Please note that while the Edrolo digital textbooks are listed in the Campion booklists, they must be purchased via the Beaconhills Edrolo Payment Portal, accessed through your child’s Edrolo account.
Timeline:
- The College will enrol VCE studentsin Edrolo by the beginning of Head Start program in November and access to the digital resources and textbooks will be made available. In the following school year, access to the VCE Physics and Biology digital textbooks will only be continued if the textbook has been purchased.
- Students who used Edrolo in the previous year can access their accounts immediately.
- After enrolment, students new to the College, will receive a follow-up email which is used to activate their Edrolo account. This will be supported in the class by their teachers.
- Families of students enrolled in the above Science subjects will need to purchase the textbook from their child’sEdrolo account in time for the start of the school year. Access to the Edrolo textbook from the start of classes will depend on this.
