Year 3 Digital Resource List
In 2025, Beaconhills College implemented a managed iPad program for our Junior School. This means that the College will supply students in Year 3 with an iPad for their learning program.
Parents of Year 3 children will not be required to purchase an iPad.
This decision aligns with our commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for our students that is safe, age appropriate, secure and minimising distractions. A key element of the College’s Digital Environment Strategy, iPads offer unique opportunities to engage and inspire students in their learning process. Their versatility and simplicity, expand learning conditions and are particularly well-suited for our junior school students.
We have some good news about Junior School booklists. You will no longer have to complete a booklist order.
The College has been able to negotiate a bulk purchase price for all Junior School booklists, which is now included in the College fees. This will include all stationery items as well as some apps and other items such as recorders.
The benefits for parents are:
- An overall cost saving
- There is no need to worry about ordering and collecting books or ordering items via our College Shop
- All books and stationery will be ready in the classroom for the first day of school
- No packing your child’s school bag with heavy books on the first day
There will still be apps that students need to have installed as part of the Years 3 iPad program which are listed above.
