Access to school bus travel is subject to eligibility requirements, available seating capacity, and compliance with program conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Non-Government School Students<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Government school students are given priority access to available bus seats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-government school students may be allocated a seat where capacity allows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-government student demand alone does not justify the creation of a new bus service or route extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents\/carers must agree in writing that their child may only travel while seating is available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents\/carers must be prepared to make alternative travel arrangements if their child is required to relinquish their seat due to capacity constraints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Parent and Student Responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By accessing school bus services, students and parents\/carers agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with all School Bus Program conditions of travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure students are transported safely to and from their designated bus stop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise students and take responsibility for their safety while they are waiting at bus stops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand that access to school bus travel is a privilege rather than an entitlement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Bus Stops<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bus stop locations are determined by the Student Transport Area Planning team and are selected to serve the greatest number of students while minimising travel times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For safety reasons, students can only be picked up and dropped off at approved bus stops.
