The customer will be advised 14 days in advance of any changes to the Direct Debit arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>2. The Direct Debit Authority(DDA) will remain in place for the duration of your family\u2019s association with the College. For all matters relating to the Direct Debit arrangements including the deferment of, or alteration to, any of the arrangements, the cancellation of the DDA or stop of a Direct Debit Item, the investigation into a dispute of a Direct Debit item, the Customer will need to:<\/p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc\">\n    <li> <p>Contact our accounts department on 1300 002 225 (Ext: 2207) <b>Or<\/b><\/p><\/li>\n    <li><p><a href=\"mailto:beaconhillsaccounts@beaconhills.vic.edu.au\">Email (beaconhillsaccounts@beaconhills.vic.edu.au)<\/a> outlining the request or issue<\/p><\/li>\n    <li> <p>Allow for 5 working days for alterations to take effect.<\/p><\/li><p><\/p>\n<p>3. The Customer should be aware that:<\/p>\n<p><\/p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc\">\n    <li> <p>Direct debiting through Bulk Electronic Clearing Systems (BECS) in not available on all bank accounts<\/p><\/li>\n   <li> <p>Account details should be checked against a recent statement from the Financial Institution.<\/p><\/li>\n   <li><p>If you are in any doubt, you should check with your Financial Institution before completing the drawing authority.<\/p><\/li><p><\/p>\n<p>4. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient cleared funds are available in the nominated debiting account when the payments are scheduled to be drawn. Please check your nominated account to see that each instalment has successfully been deducted from your nominated account and contact the Finance Department of any unsuccessful instalment deductions appearing on your account.<\/p>\n\n<p>5. If the due date of the payment falls on a non-working day or public holiday, the payment will be processed on the next working day.<\/p><p><\/p>\n<p>6. For returned unpaid transactions, the following procedures or policy will apply:<\/p>\n<p><\/p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc\">\n<li> <p>You will be contacted as soon as possible after the transaction has been returned to us unpaid and each statement issued will have a declined transaction entry for Bank Account deductions notifying of the unsuccessful deduction. Credit Card payments that have been unsuccessful will not appear on your statement for the unsuccessful instalment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p> The weekly\/fortnightly\/monthly instalment plus bank charges (if applicable) must be paid by the following week by scheduled deduction unless direct deposit or credit card payment to the College has been received.<\/p><\/li>\n<li> <p>If no payment is received the missed instalment plus charges will be included with the next scheduled College weekly or fortnightly Direct Debit run.<\/p><\/li>\n<li> <p>Quarterly and Half Yearly Instalments will be resubmitted within 14 days of the unsuccessful scheduled instalment deduction. Alternatively payment can be made by direct deposit or credit card payment to the College within 14 days.<\/p><\/li><p><\/p>\n<p>7. All customer records and account details will be kept private and confidential.
